I am a Southern girl by birth and a Home Economist by choice.  After growing up in North Carolina, I attended college, earning my Bachelor of Science in Home Economics degree in 1977. I married and moved to South Carolina and have used my talents, skills, and resources from that degree ever since!  Whether in banking, as a County Extension Agent, a stay-at-home Mom, or a member of the staff at my church, every day has brought new adventures in the field of Home Economics.  This blog is a chance for you to share in these adventures with me!!

  1. I saw your comment on another blog, and of course I had to meet you! I have a BS in Home Economics (1975) and met my husband, a CRD specialist when I was doing an internship in the 4-H department. Congratulations on your new blog!
